refugee arrives to their state of final destination, they are urged to have a
comprehensive health assessmetn. In MN
this assesment focuses on communicable disease. This is to serve the best interests of the
refugees themselves, and to protect the citizens of MN. All non0infectious andchronic medical
conditions diagnosed are referrred on to appropriate health care systems.
