2025 East River RoadWe hope you will be able to join us to make this year’s seminars as informative and dynamic as it has been for the last nine years. All are welcome. Dinner will be provided. The seminar will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room (as usual) from 6:00 pm until 8:30 pm. The schedule is as follows:
6:00 Dinner & Introductions
6:10 Global Health Update - Brett Hendel-Paterson, MD, DTM&H University of Minnesota, Global Health Faculty
6:30 Community Forum: Serving as Educators and Capacity Builders Overseas.
This informal discussion will explore the possibility of professionals from the Twin Cities voluntarily staffing, continuously, two overseas sites (Africa/Southeast Asia). We would like to gauge interest, explore funding possibilities, and define goals and objectives of such a program. The discussion will be aimed at practicing providers, preferably with tropical medicine or specific training, although others (i.e. residents) are welcome to listen and participate. If you are unable to attend the discussion, please let us know and we will send out meeting minutes.
8:15 Adjournment
We would like to sincerely thank Peggy McDowell, Shelly Golden, and Mark Prueter from GlaxoSmithKline for their ongoing support.
All are welcome; there is no fee. We hope you may attend.
Sincerely,
Ann Settgast,
